During Erick’s college years he did an internship at South Louisville Christian Church and has worked as a Part time youth minister at Hillview Community Christian Church.  He started at KCC in December of 2018. From his time in his personal youth group Erick has always had a passion for youth. When he was in High School he started a Christian after school program called “The Way” later changing the name to “First Priority” when he partnered up with the First Priority Christian Organization. Erick has found it to be important to pray for youth in the community, reaching out to them by developing events centered on Christ while challenging them to follow Jesus completely. On his free time Erick loves to study Apologetics often bringing it up in his lessons from time to time. He thinks it is highly important to get the children ready to make a defense for the hope that they have in Christ. When he isn’t at the church he is with his family who he loves with all his heart. Spending time with Ciera (his wife) and Jedidiah (his son) at the local state parks. Come visit us, he would love to get to know you, no matter your age.

Brian has served for over 15 years at Kent which is his first official ministry. Brian started by volunteering with the youth during high school and early college years before becoming our Associate/Youth Minister in October of 2005. He served two summers in a ministry called "Summer Ministries" working in camps, day camps, and VBS programs all across the South East part of the country during his High School Years. He began his ministry as our Senior Minister/Preacher in December, 2016.
