Kent Christian Church encourages the heart, equips the person, and engages the culture in order to develop disciples who can lead in our culture. Living out our true masculine nature as God created us helps us grow closer to Him as well as each other. Email us for more information on any men’s ministry! firstname.lastname@example.org
The men of Kent Christian Church plan an annual hog hunt on a reservation in Florida. This is a great chance to spend time in fellowship together as well as with God while catering to the heart of man. It is a great opportunity to learn more about hunting from skilled fellow Christians.
Our men’s Sunday class is a training ground for men to be men. This class challenges and encourages men to be leaders in all aspects of life; personal accountability, in the home, in the work place, and in the Lord’s Church.
It is our belief that involvement as men in the church is part of preparing us for church leadership. While this takes place in all aspects of life, it involves having personal accountability, leading in the home, discipling in the work place and in the church. Leadership opportunities arise in all facets of our ministry as a body and we are always looking for good men to grow and become a part of this.
We also practice the Biblical model of church leadership by having Elders as our leadership. An Elder is an older man, overseer, or leader in the church who has met the Biblical qualifications to fulfill this position and desires to carry out Biblical work of this position. This is in accordance with 1 Timothy 3 and 1 Peter 5.
The work of an Elder generally includes shepherding the membership, exercising oversight upon the membership, living as examples to the membership, teaching the membership, and helping disciple all those who wish to grow among the church.
